More than 300 homes closed for $1 million or more last month, according to data from OneKey MLS. That's roughly 23% of the more than 1,400 reported sales across Nassau and Suffolk counties.

While more than half the homes are in Nassau County, all but one of the top 10 most expensive were in Suffolk.

At $9.96 million, the most expensive sale was a five-bedroom home in Sag Harbor. That price eclipsed another megasale, in Upper Brookville, that closed in July for $9.85 million.
