Several turrets punctuate a pale turquoise Victorian with neon purple accents. Inside, walls of windows encase bird's-eye views of buoyed boats in Northport Harbor.
"It's got the biggest 'wow' factor that I think I've ever seen," said listing agent Suzi Chase, of Daniel Gale Sotheby's International Realty. "You walk in the front door and there's just this panoramic view of Northport Harbor — all of the boats in the harbor, the water, the land on the other side."

The four-bed, 2½-bath house is on the market for $1.5 million. Taxes on the 0.62-acre School Street property, which falls within the Northport-East Northport Union Free School District, total $17,154.
The house, which is not on the water, sits atop a hill and overlooks the harbor.
Excluding the basement, the three-level home measures 3,164 square feet, Chase said. The primary bedroom and en suite bathroom are on the first floor, she noted.

Throughout the home, details include wood floors, off-white wainscoting and arched windows. A parlor with teal-toned walls and parquet floors has its own fireplace. Dark-wood beams interrupt white ceilings.

From a second-story bedroom, an alternate view looks like a Monet painting: down a stretch of stone steps, a wrought-iron fountain stands as the centerpiece of a Victorian garden. The fountain and coordinating benches will stay with the house, Chase said.
In addition to an oil heating system, the house has two wood-burning fireplaces. The house does not have central air conditioning.
Set back from the street, the house sits at the end of a long driveway. An attached garage accommodates one car.
"It's a very private location," Chase said.
