Greek Festival
Greek food, including gyros, souvlaki, pastries such as baklava and loukoumades, will be available for purchase. There will also be traditional Greek dancing, live music and raffles, along with rides, games, and vendors selling jewelry, crafts and clothing.

Midsummer Nights
Stroll or just relax during the Summer Solstice, the longest night of the year. The gardens will be illuminated with lanterns and decorated with wreaths and floral arrangements. Visitors can bring a picnic or food is available for purchase at the Café in the Woods.
When Gates open at 6 p.m.; 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Pollinator Festival
Discover how pollinators can help you grow your garden. Explore a butterfly exhibit, food trucks and live music. There will be native plants and honey for sale.

North Fork Pride Parade
The parade features marching groups, bands and schools celebrating Pride Month on the East End.
When Parade kicks off at noon from Main and Front streets; festival runs 1 to 4 p.m. at Mitchell Park

Long Island Public Arts Festival
The event features works by New York-based artists displayed on life-size outdoor prisms in an open-air gallery setting. Meet the artists at the opening ceremony. The gallery will be on display through Sept. 2.

Lt. Michael P. Murphy: Run Around the Lake
The 4-miler and half marathon help support veterans and honor U.S. Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy. A fun run for children takes place at 8:30 a.m. All 4-milers and half marathoners receive a T-shirt and dog tag.
When Half marathon is at 7 a.m.; 4-mile run or walk is at 9 a.m.
Cost $50 for 4-miler; $90 for half marathon day of registration; $20 fun run

The exposition features breeders displaying a selection of snakes, lizards, turtles, tarantulas and amphibian species. Supplies and merchandise will be for sale.

Hoshyla Farms Lavender Festival
Wander through the lavender fields and pick your own at this festival. Find lavender merchandise for sale, children's activities such as face painting and crafts, a vendor market with handcrafted arts and crafts, live music, food trucks and beer and wine tastings.

The festival is a throwback to the '90s, featuring a retro marketplace selling video games, clothes, toys, vinyl records and more. Enjoy live music with tribute bands throughout the weekend, including Hella Doubt, a '90s-themed bar, skateboard competition show, cosplay, food trucks and a fireworks show at 9 p.m. on July 12.

Huntington Independence Day

The 30th annual Stony Brook Film Festival features a full lineup of 36 features and shorts from 19 countries, including one from Long Island’s East End.

Tilles Jazz Fest
The festival, in collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center, features nine concerts with headliners Arturo Sandoval and John Pizzarelli Big Band in "Dear Mr. Sinatra," along with percussionist Pedrito Martinez. More acts to see include The Gotham Kings, the Summer Camargo Quintet, New Jazz Underground and Vanisha Gould.

Feast of Saint Rocco
Celebrate Italian culture at an outdoor festival featuring food prepared by the famous "nonnas" from the parish. Menu items include baked ziti, eggplant, chicken and veal parmigiana, ravioli, lasagna rollups and more. There will also be rides, games on the midway by Newton Shows and merchandise vendors.

Great South Bay Music Festival
The music lineup includes Taking Back Sunday, Say Anything, moe., Eggy, Oogee Wawa, Project Vibe, Men at Work and Ambrosia. Head to the Rock Reggae Beach Party with Damian and Stephen Marley. There will also be a kids zone with puppetry, magic, face painting and food vendors.
