Jolabokaflod: Night of Books and Chocolate

Dec21

Jolabokaflod* or 'Christmas book flood' is an Icelandic tradition in which people gift books and chocolate to each other during the holiday season. We will be co-hosting this event with the Sayville Bean who will be bringing hot chocolate to our shop and Brunch Sayville who will supplying us with baked goods. We will have books wrapped in brown paper with genres written on them for you to pick from a gift basket. Grab a book and pair it with some hot chocolate for $10. Then, hang out with us as we celebrate the holiday season in Sayville. There will be a reading of 'Twas the Night before Christmas at 6:30 p.m. for children.
