A Long Island man scored big on a $2 million Powerball Powerplay prize on Tuesday, the New York Lottery said.

Jacques Mutombo, of Elmont, collected the second prize after matching the first five numbers drawn on March 23.

At the time of purchase, Mutombo elected to add the optional $1 Powerplay feature to his wager, which automatically doubled his $1 million Powerball second prize, the lottery said.

The winning numbers were: 12, 18, 47, 56, 63 and Power Ball 01.

Mutombo chose to receive a lump-sum payment totaling $1,302,001, after required withholdings.

The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven on Jericho Drive in Mineola.
