Devyn Mandell tallied 17 kills, 12 digs and three aces to lead North Shore, 15-25, 22-25, 25-20, 26-24, 15-13, over Floral Park in Nassau A-I girls volleyball on Wednesday. Delaney Strecker added 25 assists, two kills and an ace. Lily Bombardiere contributed 15 digs and three aces. Kaitlyn Dobyns had three kills, two blocks and two aces.

Commack 3, Whitman 1: Ava Khan had 23 digs and 11 aces to lead Commack (6-5), 25-21, 25-20, 23-25, 25-16, in Suffolk II. Natalie Pisani had seven kills and four blocks and Olivia Pagano added 12 assists and four aces.

Sachem East 3, North Babylon 0: Bridget Hansen had 13 kills, nine digs, eight assists and five aces to lead Sachem East (11-1), 25-12, 25-20, 25-13, in Suffolk II. Avery Thurston had six kills and five digs.

Newfield 3, Deer Park 1: Sophia DeVita tallied 19 digs, 18 assists and nine kills to lead Newfield (7-5), 25-22, 20-25, 25-20, 25-8, in Suffolk III. Vitalina Paknis had 19 kills, 15 digs, four blocks and two aces. Mya Quinones added 11 kills and five digs.

BOYS SOCCER

Ward Melville 2, North Babylon 0: Ryan Glennon scored a first-half goal off an assist from Jacob Feldman and Myles Weber put it away in the second half with a header off a corner kick from Chase Ukeiley to lead Ward Melville (7-4-1) in Suffolk II. James Wright made seven saves to earn his second clean sheet of the season. Gianluca Turano saved seven shots for North Babylon (5-4-2).

Comsewogue 4, Westhampton 0: Jake Mueller scored two goals and Bryan Udovich made 11 saves to lead Comsewogue (7-3) in Suffolk IV. Nate Cangelosi had 10 saves for Westhampton (4-7-1).

GIRLS SOCCER

Cold Spring Harbor 2, Roslyn 1: Alexandra Rossen and Brooke Giblin scored to lead Cold Spring Harbor (9-1) in non-league. Ainsley Dircks dished out an assist. Avery Minsky scored a goal for Roslyn (10-1).

Sachem East 3, Connetquot 1: Charlotte Furey and Aubree Ellis had a goal and an assist to lead Sachem East (8-2-1) in Suffolk I. Hailey Brennan scored and Gabriella Arculeo had an assist. Morgan Mandracchia scored for Connetquot (11-1-1).

Bay Shore 2, Lindenhurst 1: Julie Norena scored the go-ahead goal off an assist from Aaliyah Jiminez in the 73rd minute to give Bay Shore (1-10) the lead for good in Suffolk I. Leah Mendolia scored in the first half. Marissa Snipp scored a goal and Natalia Pacholska had eight saves for Lindenhurst (2-6-1).

FIELD HOCKEY

East Islip 4, Pierson/Bridgehampton/Ross 0: Aubree Jones had a hat trick to lead East Islip (10-4) in Suffolk II. Emily Mooney added a goal and an assist. Brooke McCally and Emily Saccone shared the shutout with five combined saves. Caroline Gregor made six saves for Pierson/Bridgehampton/Ross (6-7).

Eastport-South Manor 3, Shoreham-Wading River 0: Katelyn Murtha scored three goals to lead Eastport-South Manor (12-1) in Suffolk II. Sophia Giangreco made 16 saves for Shoreham-Wading River (6-7).

BOYS BADMINTON

Valley Stream District 4, Wheatley 3: Awais Anees and Alex Mazalkov defeated Ray Wei and Darren Hou at second doubles, 21-15, 21-14, to win the deciding match for Valley Stream District (11-1) against Wheatley (8-3) in Nassau II. Abed Dihan defeated Aaron Shin at third singles, 21-17, 21-19, in the victory for Valley Stream District.
