CRISALYN ABRUSCATO, Hauppauge, INF/C, Soph.

Abruscato hit .361 with a .459 OBP, 19 runs, 11 RBIs and seven stolen bases.

RACHEL ABZUG, Commack, C, Sr.

The Rutgers-Newark commit hit two home runs and threw out six runners from behind the plate.

JOSIE ALFANO, Mount Sinai, C, Jr.

Alfano hit five home runs and eight doubles as a sophomore. The Stony Brook commit had a .528 average and slugged .847.

ALEX AUDIA, Mount Sinai, P/INF, Jr.

Audia hit three home runs, slugged .589 and had a 1.129 OPS. The junior will be Mt. Sinai’s top pitcher this season.

EMILY BALDUCCI, Massapequa, OF, Sr.

The Newsday All-Long Island second-team selection hit .395 and had 20 RBIs. Balducci scored 25 runs for the Long Island Class AA champions.

KIARA BELLIDO, Floyd, SS, Sr.

The Suffolk Large School Player of the Year and Syracuse commit hit .589, with seven home runs and 18 RBIs. Bellido was named to Newsday’s All-Long Island second team.

AVERY BETANCOURT , Mepham, CF, Soph.

Betancourt had a .425 average, .510 OBP and 11 stolen bases. The sophomore will make the switch from left to center field this season.

SARAH BIELSKI, St. Anthony’s, 1B/P, Jr.

The Fairfield commit hit .391, drove in 24 runs, scored 24 runs and had a 1.117 OPS.

AVA BLASI, Half Hollow Hills, SS, Sr.

Blasi had a .535 average, 16 RBIs, 18 runs and 23 stolen bases.

ISABEL BRIAND, Patchogue-Medford, P, Soph.

Briand struck out 140 batters in 105 innings and batted .364 with a home run, eight doubles and 18 RBIs as a freshman.

Borne hit .412 and stole 11 bases from the leadoff spot. The shortstop had a .483 OBP and 12 RBIs.

EMILY BOUROS, West Islip, P/OF/1B, Soph.

Bouros struck out 194 and tossed six shutouts. The sophomore hit .400 and led the team with a .550 OBP.

CAROLINE BROCK, Port Washington, SS, Jr.

Brock hit .375 with a .500 OBP and a 1.054 OPS. She has led Port Washington in hits the past three seasons.

ERIN CAHILL, Shoreham-Wading River, P, Sr.

Cahill had a 2.20 ERA and struck out 174 while hitting .431 with 26 RBIs.

HAILEY CARDIELLO, Long Beach, CF, Sr.

The Johnson and Wales commit hit .392, with a .466 OBP and drove in 16 runs.

ADDISON CELI, Westhampton, P, Soph.

Celi tallied over 200 strikeouts for the second consecutive season. The sophomore posted a 1.63 ERA and threw two no-hitters and four one-hitters.

GIANA CERRONE, Manhasset, SS, Sr.

Cerrone’s 16 home runs led Long Island. The shortstop dominated offensively, hitting .785 and driving in 77 runs.

SAMANTHA CHAISSON, Oceanside, OF, Sr.

Chaisson hit .339 with two home runs and drove in 15 runs.

The College of Staten Island commit hit .340 with a .491 OBP and a .900 OPS.

KAYLEIGH COLLINS, Hauppauge, P/1B, Soph.

Collins hit .427 with 4 home runs and 35 RBIs.

MIKAILA CORREA, Half Hollow Hills, CF, Sr.

Correa batted .446 with 12 RBIs, 22 runs and a home run.

BELLA CRUZ, St. Anthony’s, CF, Sr.

The UConn commit posted a .500 OBP, stole 33 bases and scored 39 runs to earn Newsday All-Long Island first-team honors.

ANGIE DELUCA, Sachem North, CF, Sr.

The St. Joseph’s (LI) commit batted .574 with 16 RBIs and scored 26 runs.

GISELLE DELUTRI, Mepham, P/SS, Sr.

DeLutri hit .375 with a .435 OBP and .957 OPS. The Southern Connecticut State commit struck out 74 batters in the circle.

MADISON DEMAIO, Sewanhaka, P, Sr.

DeMaio posted a 1.48 ERA and struck out 215 batters in 99 innings while batting .532 with 17 RBIs and one homer.

OLIVIA DEROSE, Sachem East, P, Sr.

The Oswego commit struck out 136, earned nine wins and had a 2.07 ERA.

The Bentley commit hit .320, with four home runs, 25 RBIs and 20 runs scored.

ALEXA ELLIOTT, Northport, LF, Sr.

Elliott hit .474 with five home runs, 27 RBIs and 21 stolen bases.

JOHANNA ESPOSITO, Calhoun, P/3B, Sr.

A versatile player, Esposito hit .328 with six doubles and 12 RBIs. The senior struck out 112 and had a 2.71 ERA.

AVA FIERST, Farmingdale, CF, Jr.

Fierst hit .479 with seven triples and struck out just once during the regular season.

MILA FIORDALISI, St. Anthony’s, P, Sr.

Fiordalisi was named the Nassau-Suffolk CHSAA Pitcher of the Year for the second straight season. She went 11-2 with a 1.05 ERA and 122 strikeouts in 86 innings and was named to Newsday’s All-Long Island first team.

LIA FONG, Bellmore JFK, P, Sr.

The St. Anthony’s transfer struck out 72 in 46 innings and had a 0.76 ERA. Fong hit a home run and had a .849 OPS.

GIULIA GANNON, Bellport, OF, Sr.

Gannon hit .400 with a .468 OBP, six doubles, two triples and 15 RBIs. The senior scored 14 runs and stole 11 bases.

KATE HEUSER, Baldwin, P, Sr.

Heuser had a 2.35 ERA and picked up 15 wins. The senior hit .450, drove in 33 and scored 27 runs.

VALENTINA IULA, St. Anthony’s, C, Sr.

The Providence commit hit .306 with a .411 OBP, 1.040 OPS, three home runs and 21 RBIs.

KEIRA JANTZ, Islip, C/SS, Sr.

The Mercy commit hit .479 with four home runs and 35 RBIs.

CASEY KISSINGER, Wantagh, SS, Sr.

Kissinger hit .382, scored 24 runs and drove in 20. The Molloy commit had a .970 fielding percentage at shortstop.

AALIYAH LAMARRE, North Babylon, RF, Sr.

Lamarre hit .568 with 36 runs scored, 25 RBIs and 17 stolen bases.

Leach is a strong defender with a powerful arm behind the plate. She hit .404, drove in 25 runs and scored 21.

BIANCA LOBOSCO, Lynbrook, C, Jr.

LoBosco possesses tremendous athleticism behind the plate. At the plate, she hit .375 with four home runs, 13 RBIs and a 1.239 OPS.

CHRISTINE LOMBARDI, West Islip, OF, Jr.

Lombardi hit .434, had a .531 OBP, 1.022 OPS and stole eight bases.

EMMA LOMBARDI, Kings Park, C, Soph.

Lombardi stepped into the catcher role and became an important contributor. The sophomore hit .456 with a .523 OBP and 16 RBIs.

EMILY LOPEZ, Miller Place, 1B, Jr.

Lopez flashes a strong glove at first base. The junior hit .609 with a .653 OBP, scored 27 runs and drove in 23.

ISABELLA LUNDQUIST, Sayville, CF, Jr.

The UConn commit hit .500, with a .602 OBP and five triples. The center fielder had a .946 fielding percentage and scored 40 runs from the leadoff spot.

KAITLYN MAGERLE, Whitman, P/1B, Sr.

Magerle batted .311 and went 3-0 in the final three games of the regular season to lead Whitman to the playoffs for the first time in four years.

MADISON MANDRA, Bethpage, 1B/P, Sr.

The Western Connecticut State commit hit .365 with 15 RBIs.

ARIANA MANISCALCO, East Meadow, OF, Sr.

Maniscalco is a strong defender in the outfield. The senior hit .379 with eight doubles and 11 RBIs.

JULIA MANISCALCO, Kellenberg, 1B/OF, Sr.

A versatile player, Maniscalco hit. 411 with 16 RBIs and seven stolen bases.

MYA MARELLI, Riverhead, P, Soph.

Marelli was named to Newsday’s All Long-Island second team after striking out 181 and posting a 1.91 ERA. The sophomore hit .493 and drove in 19 runs.

CAMRYN MARIANO, West Islip, SS/P/OF, Sr.

Mariano hit .405, with a 1.281 OPS, five home runs, 29 runs scored and 20 RBIs.

ERIN MCDAID, Smithtown West, P, Jr.

McDaid struck out 209 and posted a 1.80 ERA in 120 innings. She hit .459 with four home runs, earning her a Newsday All-Long Island second-team nod.

RENEE MCGOWAN, Bayport-Blue Point, 3B,Sr.

McGowan hit .400 with 27 RBIs and 28 runs scored. She drove in the go-ahead run in the 12th inning of the Class A Long Island championship.

MEGHAN MCGURK, Babylon, P, Sr.

McGurk hit .593 with 15 RBIs and a home run while pitching to 0.52 ERA with 91 strikeouts.

LAUREN MCSWEENEY, Islip, P, Sr.

McSweeney struck out 202 and had a 1.51 ERA. The Newsday All-Long Island second-teamer hit .510 and drove in 30 runs.

EMMA MEENAN, Half Hollow Hills, 2B, Sr.

Meenan hit .454 with five doubles, 14 RBIs and 14 runs scored.

TIFFANY MELENDEZ, Valley Stream North, CF, Soph.

A speedy centerfielder who can get to any ball, Melendez hit .542, scored 26 runs and stole 18 bases.

TIFFANY MENDEZ, Bay Shore, SS/C, Sr.

Mendez batted .422 with 14 runs and 19 stolen bases. Her strong arm helps behind the plate and at shortstop.

The Villanova commit and Newsday All-Long Island first-teamer hit .539 with three home runs and 41 RBIs. She was named the Nassau-Suffolk CHSAA Player of the Year and Playoff MVP.

MADISON NELL, Herricks, P, Soph.

The Nassau Conference II Pitcher of the Year struck out 147 and posted a 1.04 ERA over 20 games.

The Fordham commit had a .306 average, hit two home runs and drove in 20 for the Sailors.

GIANNA NICASTRO, Calhoun, P/3B, Sr.

Nicastro hit .301 and led Calhoun with five home runs and 19 RBIs. The St. John’s commit pitched to a 2.47 ERA.

DEANNA NORTH, Riverhead, 1B, Sr.

The Fredonia commit batted .375 with a .923 OPS and scored 12 runs.

MARISSA NOSOVITCH, Carle Place, P/3B, Jr.

The Kutztown commit hit four home runs and struck out 201 batters in 124 innings.

ZOEY NUSSBAUM, Northport, 2B, Sr.

The St. Francis commit hit .325 with a .510 OBP, five home runs, 18 RBIs and 23 stolen bases.

KAYLA O’BOYLE, Commack, P, Sr.

A Newsday All-Long Island first team selection, O’Boyle set a Commack record with 253 strikeouts. The Southern New Hampshire commit pitched to a 1.45 ERA and earned Suffolk Large School Pitcher of the Year honors.

LAUREN O’BRIEN, Massapequa, OF, Sr.

The Palm Beach Atlantic commit hit .371, had a .425 OBP, and slugged .567. The senior scored 31 runs, drove in 18 and stole 15 bases.

JULIA PARISE, East Meadow, P, Sr.

The Southern New Hampshire commit hit .459 with 19 RBIs and four home runs. Parise had a 1.61 ERA and struck out 175 over 138 innings and was named to Newsday’s All-Long Island first team.

LAUREN PEERS, Carey, P/OF, Sr.

A four-year starter, Peers picked up six wins and hit .350.

SOPHIA PISACANO, Herricks, SS, Sr.

Pisacano is a key contributor at shortstop. The Longwood commit hit .500.

GIA PISICCHIO, Calhoun, SS, Sr.

Pisicchio hit .435 with a .462 OBP, 11 doubles, three home runs and 17 RBIs.

The North Dakota commit hit .415 with 17 RBIs and 17 runs.

EMERSON POWELL, Ward Melville, LF, Jr.

Powell swiped 28 bases last season to go with a .429 batting average and 1.169 OPS from the leadoff spot.

EMMA POWELL, Center Moriches, P, Sr.

The College of Staten Island commit batted .439 with 25 RBIs, 20 runs and a 1.114 OPS. Powell struck out 82 batters and picked up nine wins in the circle.

EMMA PRIEST, Wantagh, OF, Jr.

Priest batted .412 with 30 runs scored, drove in 15 runs and drew 10 walks.

TAYLOR RENNY, Syosset, CF, Fr.

The Newsday All-Long Island second team selection hit .547, swiped 27 bases, scored 27 runs and drove in 15 to lead Syosset to its first county final appearance since 1990.

EMMA ROBINS, Division, 1B, Jr.

Robins hit .320 with four home runs, 10 doubles and 18 RBIs.

STORM ROMANO, West Babylon, SS/2B, Jr.

A strong defender in the middle infield, Romano possesses speed, a strong arm and the ability to hit for average.

SKYLER SECONDINO, Seaford, P, Jr.

Secondino struck out 181, posted a 2.68 ERA, and had 14 extra-base hits as Seaford won its first Long Island title since 2005. She was named to Newsday’s All-Long Island second team.

MOLLY SILECCHIA, Kellenberg, P, Soph.

Silecchia joined Kellenberg’s varsity team mid-season and led the team with a 1.89 ERA. She pitched a no-hitter in the NSCHSAA semifinal against Sacred Heart.

BROOKE SIMMONS, Glen Cove, P, Soph.

Simmons averaged 11 strikeouts per game and hit .400 as a freshman.

Tarra hit .610 with 22 extra-base hits, 38 RBIs, 35 runs and 9 steals.

OLIVIA TOTO, Bellmore JFK, SS/2B, Sr.

Toto hit .355 with a .918 OPS, scored 13 runs and stole six bases.

HAILEY TRAPANI, MacArthur, OF, Jr.

The Newsday All-Island second team selection hit .440 with five home runs, 24 RBIs and 34 runs for the Nassau Class A champions.

AVA VANDERNOTH, St. Anthony’s, 2B, Sr.

The Fordham commit hit .397 with a 1.012 OPS, 27 RBIs and 22 runs.

NINA VANDERNOTH, North Babylon, P/INF, 8th

Vandernoth struck out 75 and posted a 0.93 ERA as a seventh-grader. She hit .481 with 10 RBIs and drew 15 walks.

Vomero hit .535 with 23 RBIs, 30 runs and 12 extra-base hits as a freshman.

BRIANNA VOYER, Mineola, P/OF, Sr.

The Marywood commit hit .482 while pitching to a 1.24 ERA and holding opposing hitters to a .188 batting average. Voyer also threw a no-hitter .

KAYLA WAKELY, East Meadow, C/3B, Sr.

The Southern Connecticut State commit moves from third base to catcher this season. Wakely hit .333 with five doubles and 11 RBIs.

MEGAN WEGEL, North Babylon, CF, Sr.

Wegel hit .583 and drove in 35 runs. She added 17 extra-base hits and 28 runs, earning Newsday All-Long Island first team honors.

KATELYNN WEST, Ward Melville, CF, Sr.

West batted .375 with 16 RBIs and two home runs. She is a dynamic defender with a strong arm and had eight outfield assists last season.

EMILY WOLFE, Bay Shore, P/SS/2B, Sr.

Wolfe batted .524 with 19 runs scored and 21 stolen bases and struck out 79 batters in 58 2/3 innings.

AVA ZICCHINELLI, Miller Place, P, Jr.

Zicchinelli pitched to a 1.46 ERA and 0.87 WHIP with 164 strikeouts to earn Suffolk Small Schools Pitcher of the Year honors. The Newsday All-Long Island second-team selection batted .451 and scored 30 runs.
