How to add photos to your iPhone contacts
Adding photos next to your iPhone contacts is easy. When you receive a call from a contact with a photo attached, iPhone displays the person's picture.
1. Take a person's picture with your iPhone, or select a picture already on your iPhone. You can also upload a picture to your iPhone using iTunes and then select it. Tap the icon on the far left of the toolbar on the bottom of the photo.
2. On the window that appears, tap "Assign to Contact." On your contact list, tap the name of the person you are assigning the photo to. Move and scale the photo with your fingers, pinching to zoom in or out. When you are done, tap Set Photo.
3. Go to Contacts and view the image. If you are happy with the results, you are done. If not, tap Edit, then tap edit on the photo, then tap Edit Photo to make adjusts. When you are done, tap Choose and then Done to exit Edit.
