Jordin Sparks, Sage the Gemini split, report says

Season 6 “American Idol” winner Jordin Sparks and her boyfriend of nine months, rapper Sage the Gemini, have broken up, People magazine reported Wednesday.

Neither has confirmed the report.

Sparks, 26, had confirmed in May that she and Sage the Gemini, 23, born Dominic Wynn Woods, were in a relationship.

The daughter of former New York Giants defensive back Phillippi Sparks, Sparks and singer Jason Derulo had been a couple for three years before announcing on Sept. 25, 2014, that they were splitting up.

Sparks’ third studio album, “Right Here Right Now,” was released in August.
