In Rolling Stone interview excerpts posted Wednesday, reality TV star Kim Kardashian expressed how she felt when we when she first saw her stepfather Bruce Jenner in women's clothing; how Jenner revealed his transsexuality to rapper Kanye West, who is married to Kardashian; and her brother Rob's absence from their reality TV show.

Twelve years ago, she discovered Jenner -- who has since become Caitlyn Jenner -- in the family's garage, dressed in women's clothing. "I was shaking," Kardashian, 34, told the magazine, which comes out Friday. "I didn't know if I'd just found out his deepest, darkest secret, and he was going to come after me."

She said Olympic gold medalist Jenner, now 65, phoned her a half-hour later and told his stepdaughter, "One day, I'll talk to you about this. Until then, don't tell a soul." Eight years later, Kardashian said, the two sat down and discussed his desire to transition from man to woman. He revealed his decision publicly in April during a televised interview with Diane Sawyer.

Sometime during his talk with her, Jenner spoke with West. "I wasn't sure if Bruce was going to be comfortable walking me down the aisle," Kardashian said of her May 2014 wedding. "He had just had his trachea shaved, so I knew something was going on." Any concerns she had over West's reaction proved unfounded, she said. "[Kanye] obviously moves to his own drum. He lives his life the way he wants, a really authentic life, and he was like, 'If you can't be authentic and you can't live your life, what do you have?' "

She also revealed the awkwardness she felt when her late father, attorney Robert Kardashian, allowed his client, accused killer O.J. Simpson, to move into their home briefly. He stayed in her younger sister Khloé's room, she said. "It was surreal, with Johnnie Cochran and Robert Shapiro and all these guys having meetings at my dad's house," she recalled.

Kardashian also explained her younger brother Rob's reticence about appearing on the family's E! reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." "It's not that mysterious, what's happening with Rob," she said. "He has gained weight. He feels uncomfortable being on the show, and that's OK. Do I think he smokes weed, drinks beer, hangs out and plays video games with his friends all day long? Yes." Rob Kardashian has been living with sister Khloé since 2013 according to reports.
