The theme for Wednesday is Music of the American Idols and includes songs that the past winners -- Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia Barrino, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks, David Cook, Kris Allen, Lee DeWyze, Scotty McCreery and Phillip Phillips -- covered on the show and their post-Idol music.

The first number for  contenders -- Lazaro Arbos, Janelle Arthur, Curtis Finch Jr., Candice Glover, Kree Harrison, Amber Holcomb, Paul Jolley, Angie Miller, Burnell Taylor and Devin Velez -- will be Owl City’s “Shine Your Way,” from the soundtrack of the upcoming animation comedy, “The Croods.”

Fans will have the opportunity to choose an 11th Idol to go on the “American Idol Live!” tour this summer, and there will be a sing-off between the guy and girl who place sixth for a spot on the tour.

On Thursday, the results will be revealed as the country finds out who got enough votes to continue in the competition and who will be sent home.

Rock group Bon Jovi will perform its lead single “Because We Can” and quadruple-platinum, billboard chart-topper and “American Idol” Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips will perform “Gone, Gone, Gone,” the second single from his debut album.

“Gone, Gone, Gone” will also serve as the “goodbye” song of the season and will be featured when the finalists are eliminated each week.
