Tea party teaches girls table manners

Here’s video from our videojournalist Jessica Rotkiewicz about a Victorian-style tea party hosted Wednesday by the Walt Whitman Birthplace in Huntington Station. The event taught children table manners and skills such as table setting and how to properly hold and cut with a knife and fork. Apple juice was substituted for hot tea.
