Retailers Pandora and Marc Jacobs will be opening stores at Tanger Outlets Deer Park in the coming months, the retail outlet announced Tuesday.
The shopping center announced that the two stores would be replacing a former Hanes and Mack Weldon pop-up store.
"We’re expanding our selection of top brands," said Amaka Muir, marketing director at Tanger Outlets Deer Park.
"We’re just looking at our clientele and looking at the tenant mix and trying to elevate it a little more," she said. The shopping center features over 100 retailers. Other recent changes include a renovation of the Central Court Piazza and the addition of more green space.
"The whole purpose is to get more people to the center and have them stay longer," Muir said.
The new, 2,500-square-foot Marc Jacobs location is scheduled to open in May, according to Tanger, and will be located next to Sephora. The Pandora, set to open in June, will have 1,900 square feet of space.
The planned opening of the two stores follows the April 17 and April 19 openings of footwear retailers Clarks and Birkenstock, respectively, Muir said.
Pandora, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, is a maker and retailer of jewelry. Marc Jacobs is a New York City-based retailer of high-end clothing and women’s handbags.
Pandora has multiple locations on Long Island, including at Roosevelt Field and Walt Whitman Shops. Marc Jacobs also has a Roosevelt Field location.
