Long Island home prices — excluding the East End — rose to $700,000 for the first time during the July to September period, according to new data from real estate brokerage Douglas Elliman and appraisal firm Miller Samuel.

Data on closed sales from OneKey MLS showed nearly 6,000 homes that sold at or below that price so far this year.

The Suffolk communities with the most closings at or below $700,000 so far this year are Bay Shore (186), Lindenhurst (166), Shirley (146), Selden (138) and Medford (131), the data shows. In Nassau, the top communities were Levittown (124), Massapequa (114), Freeport (106), Valley Stream (102) and Hempstead (90).

Search this database for sales across Nassau and Suffolk counties to see where the homes sold, what the closing prices were and what buyers got for their money, according to data from OneKey MLS.
