7-Eleven announces 'Date Night Pack' delivery with ice cream, gum and condoms
Planning a romantic night but low on supplies? 7-Eleven delivery could be your answer.
The convenience store giant and Slurpee seller announced a new delivery service earlier this month, with a new Date Night Pack for romantically inclined customers, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The $20 pack comes with Ben & Jerry's chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, a Hershey's milk chocolate bar, a can of Red Bull, a pack of Trident gum and a three-pack of Trojan Ultra Thin condoms.
So far, only customers in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago will be able to order with Washington D.C. and Boston getting service in coming months, the company said.
7-Eleven is partnering with the delivery service DoorDash, the company said in a statement. Customers can use the DoorDash's app or website to place orders.
"By working with DoorDash, we can bring on-demand delivery to more people and more places," said Raja Doddala, 7-Eleven's vice president of innovation and omnichannel strategy. "This partnership between the world's largest convenience store chain and a leading on-demand delivery start-up can redefine convenience."
If the date night pack doesn't suffice, customers can also order a $15 Hangover Pack that comes with extra-strength acetaminophen, a fruit punch flavored Gatorade, a large pepperoni pizza and a smoked turkey and pepper jack cheese sandwich.
