Luxury Italian footwear and accessories company Baldinini will open its first Long Island store on Monday at Roosevelt Field mall in Garden City.

The 1,345-square-foot store will carry men’s and women’s clothing, including the Baldinini and Top Line Gimmi Baldinini collections.

“The footwear industry is experiencing a very positive moment in sales within the United States compared to sales elsewhere,” company CEO Gimmi Baldinini said in a news release. “This is the reason behind our choice to invest in this dynamic market.”

The company said Baldinini boutiques are characterized by a minimalist and sophisticated aesthetic.

According to the brand’s website, Baldinini was founded in San Mauro Pascoli, Italy, in 1910 when Gimmi’s family crafted bespoke shoes by hand.

The company has two other stores in the United States — in Short Hills, New Jersey, and Miami — and 120 single-brand stores globally with boutiques in Paris, Moscow, Beijing, Hong Kong and the Middle East.
