In a partnership aimed at raising money for a variety of charities, Bethpage Federal Credit Union has teamed up with Northport’s John W. Engeman Theater.

A recent recipient was Westbury’s Project Grad LI, the credit union said in a Wednesday news release.

Earlier this month, Bethpage’s chief executive, Kirk Kordeleski, and Kevin O’Neill, owner of the theater, handed over a check (no total dollar amount was made public) to Senyal Walton and Sybil Mimy Johnson of Project GRAD.

“They raised the money through ticket sales at the John W. Engeman Theater at Northport using a special Bethpage promotional code. For every ticket sold using that code a portion was donated to Project Grad Long Island,” the partners said. For each ticket to “Cabaret” sold in the fundraiser, $10 went to Project Grad, which helps prepare students for college.
