Bethpage Federal Credit Union took home a Diamond, as in the Diamond Award, the highest accolade at a recent trade association conference in Las Vegas, the company said.

The company received the award at the 18th annual Credit Union National Association Marketing & Business Development Council conference. The group comprises 1,000 credit union marketing and business development professionals.

Bethpage received the Diamond Award in the branding and corporate identity category for its 2010 rebranding effort and multimedia marketing campaign, which included the introduction of a new logo, a new tagline, and Beth & Paige, two personalities that embody exemplary customer service.

“We are thrilled to have received the Diamond Award, the highest award given by [the council], for this multimedia marketing campaign, which has tremendously helped Bethpage stand out in Long Island’s crowded banking marketplace,”  marketing vice president Gerard Schmitt said in a company announcement Tuesday.
