KEY EVENT: LI jobs update. The state Labor Department on Thursday releases Long Island jobs created in October. In September, Long Island employers added 10,000 jobs, the lowest monthly total since January.

WEDNESDAY: The U.S. Labor Department releases October consumer prices, its closely watched inflation gauge. The report includes a breakout of consumer prices in the 25 Northeast counties, including Long Island. Earnings: Melville ID authentication products provider Intellicheck, Cisco Systems, Macy’s.
THURSDAY: The Federal Reserve Bank of New York releases the November Empire State survey, an update on state manufacturing activity. Also, two reports from the U.S. Labor Department: jobless benefits claims for the week ended Nov. 10 and import and export prices in October. Earnings: Nordstrom, computer graphics card maker Nvidia, Walmart.
FRIDAY: October industrial production from the Commerce Department. Earnings: MTV owner Viacom.
