'Hunger Games' heroine's boots a boost for Frye Co.

Lots of people, it seems, think actress Jennifer Lawrence did a fine job in the hit movie "The Hunger Games."
High on her list of fans are the folks at The Frye Company, the Great Neck bootmakers, who think the actress -- and her boots -- are top-notch.
Tuesday, Frye said on its Facebook page, "We love Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games! Take a cue from her look with the Melissa Tall Lace… Let the games begin!"
Wednesday, Frye added, "Everyone is abuzz about Katniss in her Fryes, which made us wonder...Who else has been on an adventure in their Fryes? Where have they taken you?"
The company's Melissa Tall Lace boot, retailing for a suggested $398, come in burnished brown, dark brown and black, and are fitted with "fantastic laces up front that make a dramatic statement, along with a zipper on the side that makes getting in and out easy" -- perfect for an action-movie heroine.
