Long Island hires and promotions: Alexandra LaMothe, Brookhaven Health Care Facility

Alexandra LaMothe of Smithtown, a nurse practitioner at the Brookhaven Health Care Facility in East Patchogue, has been appointed administrator.

Barbara Littell of Farmingdale has been hired as infection prevention coordinator at Apex Rehabilitation & Healthcare in South Huntington. She was an educator and infection coordinator at Sunharbor Manor in Roslyn Heights.

Dr. Scott Berlin of Bay Shore, a physician at Northwell Health Physician Partners in Bay Shore and an assistant professor at the Hofstra/Northwell medical school in Hempstead, has been appointed ob/gyn chair at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead.

NETWORKING

Diane Curley of Bethpage has been hired as Long Island managing director for the eWomenNetwork, working from home. She was an educator at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bethpage and still does per-diem in-service.

LAW

Jay S. Hellman of Sayville has been hired as a construction law partner at Forchelli Deegan Terrana in Uniondale. He was a partner at Silverman Acampora in Jericho.
