Anthony Chang of Smithtown has been hired as a chiropractor at Block Chiropractic Sports and Wellness in Smithtown. A graduate of New York Chiropractic College in Levittown and Colgate University, he interned with Ralph Mangels of South Shore Neurological Associates in Riverhead.

Linda S.Sweeney of Garden City and Southold has been appointed executive director of Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport. She was development director and practice administrator for the Children’s Medical Center at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola.

Matthew Gardiner of Mattituck has been appointed part-time band director at East End Arts in Riverhead for its New Horizons program for adults. He teaches music at PS 64 in the Bronx and is a sub in Mattituck-Cutchogue Union Free School District.

Andrea Hursala of Woodhaven has promoted from communications manager to assistant vice president of communications at FNA Insurance Services Inc. in Woodbury.
