Long Island hires and promotions: Danielle Oglesby, LIU Global Institute

Danielle Oglesby of Glen Head has been hired as chief operating officer at the LIU Global Institute at LIU Post in Brookville. She was commissioner of the Village of Hempstead’s Community Development Agency.

Ricardo Canales of Westbury, hired in Syosset, was a salesman with AT&T in Port Washington.

Nomiki Kastanas of Malba, Queens, hired in Greenvale, was an administrator with National Greek TV in Astoria.

Jonathan (Jay) Manfre of Massapequa has been hired as an associate at Collins Gann McCloskey & Barry in Mineola. He was an associate at Suris & Associates in Melville.

J. Daniel Velez of Freeport has been hired as an associate in the general liability practice at Goldberg Segalla in Garden City. He was a senior associate with Simmons Jannace DeLuca in Hauppauge.
