Long Island hires and promotions: Dr. Elizabeth Acevedo-Danzi, St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center affiliate

Dr. Elizabeth Acevedo-Danzi of Smithtown has joined the primary care group affiliated with St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown. She earned a degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury and completed her medical residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow.

INSURANCE

MassMutual Long Island Metro Agency in Hauppauge has announced two new hires.

Fred Benckwit of Massapequa, hired as a financial services professional, is a retired FDNY firefighter and a former NYPD police officer.

Tim Mirocco of Stony Brook, hired as a financial services professional, is a recent business/insurance graduate of Ohio State University.

Deepwater Wind in Amagansett, an offshore wind developer based in Providence, Rhode Island, has two new hires.

Jennifer Garvey of Hampton Bays, hired as development manager for Long Island, was associate director of the New York State Center for Clean Water Technology at Stony Brook University.

Julia Prince of Montauk, hired as Montauk manager and fisheries liaison, is a real estate agent at Saunders & Associates in Bridgehampton and owns a concierge maid service in Montauk.

Nassau Suffolk Law Services has appointed a new member to its board of directors, and its advisory council has elected four new members in Hempstead, Islandia and Riverhead.

Robin Abramowitz of Huntington, a partner at Lazer, Aptheker, Rosella & Yedid in Melville, has been appointed to the board.

Gina Pirozzi of Smithtown, a partner at G. Pirozzi Consulting in Smithtown, has been elected fundraising/event chair of the council.

Gale Berg of Merrick, director of pro bono attorney activities at the Nassau County Bar Association in Mineola, has been elected to the council.

Bradley R. Siegel of Garden City, principal of The Siegel Law Firm in Garden City, has been elected to the council.

Jake S. Ivry of Jericho, senior vice president and senior relationship manager at Esquire Bank in Jericho, has been elected secretary of the council.

Bradley Frey of Huntington has joined Laffey Real Estate in Huntington as a sales agent He was a marketing assistant at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.

Nicole Joseph of West Hempstead is the new chief operating officer at Sharestates in Great Neck. She was global project manager at Moody’s Corp., parent of Moody’s Investors Services in Manhattan.

Carl Benincasa of North Sea has been named Hamptons sales vice president at Douglas Elliman Real Estate in Bridgehampton. He was assistant attorney for Southampton Town.
