Long Island hires and promotions: Gordon Tepper, LIU Post
EDUCATION
Gordon Tepper of Long Beach has been hired as director of public relations at LIU Post in Brookville and Brooklyn. He was director of communications for the City of Long Beach.
Cindy Gervasi of Franklin Square has been hired as supervisor of literacy in the Massapequa School District. She was an elementary reading specialist in Valley Stream School District 13.
Janna Kalin of Wantagh, director of marketing at Long Island Lutheran Middle & High School in Brookville, has been promoted to Lutheran High’s director of admissions.
Paul Duguay of Merrick, a teacher and social studies department chairman at Amityville Memorial High School, has been appointed assistant principal of Edmund W. Miles Middle School in Amityville.

Michael Leahy of Westbury, owner of Metropolis Management in Lindenhurst, has been appointed chairman of the board of directors of Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. in Old Bethpage.
