Laura Menchyk of Huntington has joined the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce as a member services associate. She was an eighth grade English/honors teacher in South Carolina.

John Shea of East Hampton, a senior partner with Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo LLP in Riverhead, has been elected to the board of trustees of the Guild Hall Center for the Visual and Performing Arts in East Hampton.

Peter Heilig of Sea Cliff has joined the Glen Cove SAGE Foundation board as treasurer. The foundation supports the Glen Cove Senior Center. He has an accounting firm in Sea Cliff.
