EDUCATION

Paul Romanelli of South Huntington has been appointed as principal of Long Beach Middle School. He was assistant principal at Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School and before that was dean of students and a math teacher at Oldfield Middle School in Greenlawn.

Daniel M. Rehman of Huntington Station has been appointed as assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction for the West Hempstead School District. He was the principal at West Hempstead High School.

Kevin Dougherty of Brooklyn has been appointed as principal of Elmont Memorial High School by the Sewanhaka school board. He was the principal at the Promise Academy in Harlem.

FINANCE

Linda Ward of Stony Brook has been appointed as vice president of digital strategy at Bethpage Federal Credit Union in Bethpage. She had worked in digital usability, including experience design and product development, at Citibank in Manhattan.
