Long Island hires and promotions: Peconic Bay and Northwell Health

Dr. Robert M. Galler of East Setauket has been appointed director of neurosurgery at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead and chief of the neurosurgical spine unit for Northwell Health’s eastern region. He previously directed spine surgery at Peconic Bay and last year was a consulting surgeon at Maine Spine Surgery in Portland.
Bridget A. Ross of Charlestown, Maryland, has joined Henry Schein Inc. in Melville as president of the global medical group. She was vice president of commercial operations, North America, for Johnson & Johnson’s Medical Devices Group in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
