Long Island hires and promotions: Richard Zuckerman, attorney

Richard K. Zuckerman of Baldwin, partner at Lamb & Barnosky in Melville, has been elected to a two-year term as chairman of the New York State Bar Association’s Local and State Government Law Section.
Ray Houseknecht of Massapequa, senior portfolio maintenance director at AvalonBay Communities, Inc., in Melville, has be elected to the board of directors of the Family Service League in Huntington.
Douglas M. Nadjari of Sea Cliff, partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek in Uniondale, has been named chairman of the Nassau County Bar Association Health and Hospital Law Committee in Mineola.
Donna-Marie Korth of Rockville Centre, partner in the commercial, banking and real estate litigation practice group at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman in East Meadow, has been elected co-chair of the Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association.

Ramy Bekhiet of Robbinsville, New Jersey, has been hired as an engineering technician I. He was an office engineer with JED Engineering in Valley Stream.
Laith Faouri of Bloomfield, New Jersey, has been hired as a construction inspector III. He was a construction inspector on the Bayonne Bridge with Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. in Bayonne, New Jersey, and Staten Island.
Mohammad Haque of Bellmore has been hired as an assistant resident engineer. He was an office engineer with Hardesty and Hanover in Manhattan.
Adriana Restrepo of Mineola has been hired as a senior associate. She was a project manager with Black & Veatch in Manhattan.
Robert Wysocki of North Babylon has been hired as a CADD technician I. He was a lifeguard with New York Sports Club in Deer Park. He graduated from the University at Buffalo and earned a bachelor of arts degree, majoring in sculpture and minoring in architecture.
Wellington Cabezas of Westbury has been hired as a construction inspector III. He was a senior construction supervisor with WSP/Parson Brinckerhoff in Manhattan.

Dr. Anthony C. Theodoris of Huntington has joined the staff at Woodhaven Center of Care in Port Jefferson Station as a pulmonologist and has a private practice, Suffolk Pulmonary Associates in Port Jefferson.
