Long Island hires and promotions: Nesconset Center for Nursing

HEALTH

Samantha Undari-Schwartz of East Islip has been appointed geriatric nurse practitioner at Nesconset Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She also works as a per-diem nurse practitioner at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore.

Dr. Isabelle von Althen-Dagum of Stony Brook has joined the gastroenterology group at St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown. She was director of the Gastrointestinal Women’s Center at Stony Brook Medicine.

The Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence in Westbury has elected two new members to its board of directors.

Michael Martino of East Meadow is community relations manager for SUEZ in Wantagh, which manages Nassau County’s wastewater system.

Jeanne Posillico Leonard of Cold Spring Harbor is a broker with Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty in Cold Spring Harbor.

Kim Malafi of Lake Grove, vice president and branch manager at Apple Bank in Plainview, has been promoted to first vice president and Long Island east district manager in Smithtown.
