Long Island hires and promotions: Winthrop makes radiation oncology appointment

BANKING

TD Bank has promoted Gina Dowd of Rocky Point from assistant manager to sales and service manager of the Farmingville branch and Jaclyn M. Januszkiewicz of Islip Terrace from assistant store manager to store sales and service manager of the North Babylon branch.

Kirk Kordeleski of Sea Cliff has been appointed to the board of directors of CO-OP Financial Services. He is the president and CEO of Bethpage Federal Credit Union in Bethpage.

HEALTH CARE

Dr. Seth Blacksburg of Manhattan has been named associate director of radiation oncology at Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola and medical director of its CyberKnife Center opening soon in Manhattan. He was an assistant professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in Manhattan.

EDUCATION

Karen Vahey of Bellmore has joined New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury as dean of admissions and financial aid. She was interim director of enrollment at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville.
