A West Babylon firefighting equipment company has become a dealer representative for E-One, a rescue vehicle maker.

Nassau Fire Apparatus will exclusively represent E-One, of Ocala, Fla., on Long Island.

"We require our new dealers to have reputations for customer service, a wealth of knowledge and experience in our industry, George Logan, an E-One vice president, said in a news release this week.

He said Nassau Fire meets those standards and has nearly 50 years of experience in selling emergency vehicles. He said it also has a 15,000-square foot facility, nine full-time emergency vehicle technicians, four certified welders, seven road service trucks, two full-time sales managers and a 17-person sales team.
