Papa John's celebrating 4,000th store opening in New Hyde Park
The real Papa John, of the iconic national pizza chain, will be on Long Island Friday.
The third largest pizza delivery business in America will be opening its 4,000th location in New Hyde Park today and kicking off the milestone with festivities that include its founder, John Schnatter.
Schnatter will be at the celebration to do a ribbon cutting, sign autographs and pass out free pizza.
The event will take place at the new store's location at 909 Hillside Ave. in New Hyde Park, and run from noon to 3 p.m. It is open to the public.
Local officials, including Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano and North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jon Kaiman will also be in attendance.
