8,701 Net New U.S. Contact Center Jobs Created in U.S. During Q1 2016
Contact center industry on pace to create more jobs than last year according to jobs4america and Site Selection Group, LLC.

Between January 1, 2016 and March 31, 2016, jobs4america recorded 16,031 new U.S. jobs announced by the contact center industry. After accounting for 7,330 lost jobs due to call center downsizing and closures, there were still 8,701 net new U.S. contact center jobs created during the first quarter.
“During the same period in 2015, the contact center industry contributed to U.S. economic growth by creating 7,965 net new jobs leading to a total of 58,578 net new jobs for the entire year. We are on pace to exceed that number during 2016,” stated Matt Zemon, Chairman of jobs4america and CEO of American Support.”
Data compiled by Dallas-based Site Selection Group is used by jobs4america to record U.S. job creation.
