Nov. 2 OBA/CPA event explores IRS reporting regulations for Canadians

Collins Barrow Toronto LLP partner John Sinclair has been invited to co-chair “IRS Reporting and Enforcement Affecting Canadians: Avoiding or Negotiating The Maze.”

Jointly hosted by The Ontario Bar Association (OBA) and the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) of Ontario, the event will take place on Monday, November 2 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Twenty Toronto Street Conferences and Events (20 Toronto Street, 2nd Floor).

Topics under discussion include: the perils and pitfalls of renunciation, the opportunities and benefits of relinquishment, streamlined filing procedures, and the legality of the Canadian/U.S. Intergovernmental Agreement.
