InventHelp Inventor Develops Fire-Safety System for Clothes Dryers (KPD-252)

InventHelp, founded in 1984, is submitting this idea, the LIFE SAVER, to companies in the hopes of a good faith review.

"I worried that if my clothes dryer caught fire, it might burn the house down, especially if nobody was around to notice the fire," said an inventor from Philadelphia, Pa. "Such fires have injured and killed many people, and have also resulted in massive economic damages, so they pose a real and present danger to both people and property. This inspired me to develop an automatic fire-suppression system."

He created a prototype for the patent-pending LIFE SAVER to automatically detect and put out a fire that starts in a clothes dryer. It is designed to provide early detection and suppression in order to enhance household safety. This provides added peace of mind. Additionally, the system is adaptable for use with new and existing dryers, as well as BBQs, vehicles (cars, trucks, vans, buses, etc.), and HVAC systems - really anywhere that a fire can start0.

The original design was submitted to the King of Prussia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
