Headphones use soundwave technology to tailor music in 30 seconds

Melbourne, Australia (PRWEB) May 16, 2016

Today Nura launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $100K over 60 days for its flagship product – a headphone with both earbud and over-ear cup design that perfectly adapts music to match the way you hear. It is now available on Kickstarter starting at $199 USD.

Prior to Nura, headphones were one-size-fits-all even though we all hear differently. Nura integrates unique soundwave technology to automatically measure your hearing (from the outer ear all the way to the brain) and adapts the music for you so you can hear every note perfectly.

“Nura is all about providing the richest experience of the music you love. Because we all hear very differently it's important our headphones match our hearing” said electronic engineer and Nura CEO Kyle Slater. “We’ve made the first headphones that automatically work out your sensitivity to various frequencies of sound and fill in your musical black spots so you hear all the nuance and detail of the original recording.”

Among other distinguishing features, Nura:

  • Learns your hearing in 30 seconds: Sit back and let the magic happen - Nura uses revolutionary technology to work out how you hear.
  • Can recognize who’s listening to the device: It identifies you when you put them on in two seconds, and adjusts the sound profile accordingly.
  • Combines both ear bud and over-ear cup design: Bass you can feel, that doesn’t drown out the music. This unique architecture also provides excellent passive isolation that goes both ways. You don’t hear the world, and they don’t hear you.
  • Connects digitally: Preserves highest fidelity sound.

“Finding a pair of headphones that matches your hearing is hard - and sometimes impossible,” said Slater. “Nura know who you are, and how you hear. They sonically mold to become your perfect headphones.”

Nura’s Kickstarter campaign runs from May 16 until July 15, 2016. For a full rundown of the pledge levels visit their Kickstarter page.
