IoT Transparency Platform by RoviTracker, Inc. selected as one of four finalists in Enterprise Software category

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (PRWEB) April 24, 2018

RoviTracker, a remote monitoring and management solution company, has been named one of four finalists in the 16th Annual Utah Innovation Awards, Enterprise Software category. Winners will be announced at a special dinner on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center.

“When the entire team is heads down grinding away to get to the next level, recognition like this is like a breath of fresh air,” Alain Eav, CEO of RoviTracker, said. “It forces you to stop, take a breath and enjoy the moment. Knowing that, besides your clients, there are others that see the value in what we're doing. I feel great to be one of four finalist for this Enterprise Software award, especially from a great firm like Stoel and Rives."

The 16th annual Utah Innovation Awards is presented by Stoel Rives LLP and the Utah Technology Council. This statewide program, the first of its kind and sponsored by Webb Audio Visual Communication, STEM Utah, USTAR, Grant Thornton, Xact Data Discovery, The Leonardo, Zions Bank, BioUtah, and BoomStartUp, is designed to recognize innovations and the Utah companies that created them. A committee of more than 80 experts from Utah’s private industry, government and academic communities voted on winners and finalists in each of the program’s eight categories.

This exciting new technology, in the Internet of Things space, is offered in a robust software platform that is web-based and hardware agnostic.  Via cellular or satellite connection, RoviTracker can collect engine run-time, battery voltage, fuel percentage, solar charge and of course GPS location. Datasets are then combined and the system automatically red flag things like next service interval, driving behavior, and questionable fuel transactions. This makes it possible for companies to decrease travel time and get alerts for unauthorized asset usage on remote sites. RoviTracker is a platform built by those experienced in the industrial space and knows which data will decrease operational expenditures.
