Realty exec heads furniture group
The Greater New York Home Furnishings Association has elected a new president: Abraham Feinblum, of Plainview.
Feinblum is business manager of a real estate broker, Julius M. Feinblum Real Estate Inc., specializing in furniture industry properties.
Feinblum will serve a two-year term, according to a report in Furniture World Magazine.
He was installed as president at the association's January board meeting, where he also presented his nominations for the executive board. The association membership includes retailers, salespeople, manufacturers and suppliers.
"Feinblum and his family have a long standing connection and commitment to the furniture industry," the magazine said.
Feinblum's company, while headquartered in Plainview, has offices in California, Florida, Maryland, Ohio, New England, North Carolina and Las Vegas. With 25 full-time real estate and furniture professionals, the company says it is "the largest consultant for furniture factories for vertical free-standing programs pertaining to real estate locations."
