The Cinema Arts Centre in Huntington has scheduled an interactive seminar on the legal and business end of filmmaking.

Their Filmmaking Workshop is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature Long Island filmmaker and film instructor Glenn Andreiev and entertainment lawyer Vincent Manapat. Andreiev has produced and directed independent narrative and documentary features for over 20 years. Manapat provides representation for every stage of film production, including LLC formation, securities compliance, contracts, and intellectual property guidance.

Admission to the seminar for students or members of the Cinema Arts Centre is $35. The public gets in for $40.  Tickets can be purchased online, www.CinemaArtsCentre.org  at the box office during theatre hours or by calling Brown Paper Tickets toll free at 1-800-838-3006.  The CAC is at 423 Park Ave.
