New stores and restaurants are constantly popping up in all corners of Long Island. Here are the most recent ones that have opened and some that are coming soon.
Upscale pub The Foundry opens in Hicksville

If you’re looking for a casual pub with elevated food and a New York City manhole-cover theme, your ship has come in. The Foundry, which opened on March 3, fulfills all those needs, and more. The low-slung building on Woodbury Road had previously been Charles Avenue Cafe, a long-standing local watering hole that closed a few years ago.

The Pizzeria opening new location in Smithtown

The Pizzeria, which has six locations around Suffolk, is taking over a spot in the Branch Plaza in Smithtown that was, until last July, Buona Sera. The new location opens April 10.

Pino's Italian Food Market opens in Dix Hills

The original Salpino’s Italian Food Markets of Wantagh and Babylon has expanded north to Dix Hills. The new Pino’s Italian Food Market, which clocks in at just under 15,000 square feet, is the company's largest store of the trifecta.

Dave's Hot Chicken opens in Carle Place

The chicken tenders available at the newly opened Dave's Hot Chicken – a chain restaurant out of Los Angeles – are among the spiciest foods available on Long Island.

Just Salad to add 2 more LI locations after recent Plainview opening

Just Salad plans to open in East Meadow during the second quarter of this year, and another shop in Lake Grove during the fourth quarter, the company recently told Newsday. The planned expansion comes on the heels of its March 5 opening in Plainview.

Pandora and Marc Jacobs to open at Tanger Outlets Deer Park

Retailers Pandora and Marc Jacobs will be opening stores at Tanger Outlets Deer Park in the coming months, the retail outlet announced. The shopping center announced that the two stores would be replacing a former Hanes and Mack Weldon pop-up store.

Luxury furniture retailer RH opening in Commack

The luxury home furnishings retailer formerly known as Restoration Hardware opened RH Outlet in part of a former Target location in Commack on April 3. The opening is one of two stores RH has planned for Long Island this year; the other being a full-price store, RH Gallery, slated for Manhasset.

Chick-fil-A opens latest Suffolk location in Selden

Chick-Fil-A opened its 11th Long Island location of the fast casual brand, joining existing locations including Farmingville, Levittown, Commack, Hicksville and Farmingdale. The new store opened on April 1.

New retail store Uncharted opens in Greenvale

Uncharted, an apparel, accessory and beauty products retail brand owned by The Paper Store, has opened its first Long Island location in Greenvale. The store, which replaces a Lester’s clothing store that relocated in 2023, held its grand opening on March 29 and is Uncharted’s first East Coast location.

Bonchon Korean fried chicken chain opens first LI location

Bonchon – arguably the most well-known Korean fried chicken chain restaurant in the United States – was so busy at its Centereach location opening on March 26 that it actually ran out of chicken. The South Korean chain currently has 150 locations across the U.S. and a plan to get up to 500 in the next five years.

Willy's Azúcar Cuban Restaurant & Bar opens in Massapequa Park

Willy’s Azúcar Cuban Restaurant & Bar opened at the end of February in the former Don Juan’s on Merrick Road. It has a menu focused more on Cuban cuisine from the eastern part of the country, such as Santiago de Cuba.
