Suffolk Federal Credit Union opens Sayville branch
Suffolk Federal Credit Union has opened a branch office in Sayville, its ninth location.
The branch is located at 213 North Main St., in a shopping center anchored by a Stop & Shop supermarket. The branch includes an ATM available 24 hours and a center where customers can learn about mobile banking.
“This new branch is part of our commitment to provide Suffolk County with outstanding services and financial products to enable our members to achieve their dreams and build a solid financial future,” said William J. O’Brien, chief executive of Suffolk Federal.
He also announced Monday that Sana Ashfaq will serve as manager of the Sayville office. She previously worked for PNC Bank in New York City and Missouri.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday afternoon officially opened the branch in Sayville.
Suffolk Federal has more than 55,000 members and $1 billion in assets. Officials said membership is open to anyone who lives, works or attends religious services in the county.
