Tommy Bahama to open at Walt Whitman mall

Island-inspired fashion retailer Tommy Bahama will open its newest store next week on Long Island at the Walt Whitman Shops.
The grand opening will be May 22 at 10 a.m. at the mall, at 160 Walt Whitman Rd. in Huntington Station. The 4,000-square-foot store, in the center of the mall next to Saks Fifth Avenue, will employ 20 people.
The store will carry the Tommy Bahama collection of men's and women's sportswear, swimwear, footwear and accessories, as well as home decor items. Tommy Bahama already has an outlet store at Tanger Outlets in Riverhead.
Headquartered in Seattle, Tommy Bahama is part of Tommy Bahama Group, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Oxford Industries Inc. The company operates more than 130 Tommy Bahama stores worldwide, with 14 of those locations offering a Tommy Bahama restaurant and bar. Tommy Bahama products are also available at other retailers, including Nordstrom.
