GMC Granite: Tricked out urban mini truck

The North American Auto Show is underway in Detroit, and it's the chance for the bailed out automakers to show off what they've done with the billions of dollars they received from U.S. tax payers.
First up is GM, with it's GMC concept, the Granite. It’s a cross between a sport truck and a minivan, sort of like the Kia Soul and Nissan Cube. GM says it’s loaded with electronics and features that appeal to young professionals.

So what are these features exactly? GM says the Granite’s sides open like French doors, and its rear seats flip or fold to the side, creating enough space for a mountain bike, even with the tailgate closed.
It would be powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, that is part of its new family of small-displacement, highly efficient four-cylinder engines, matched with a six-speed transmission.
As far as exterior, there would be no chrome on its surfaces, just satin or brushed metal finishes, giving off an industrial, gritty look, hence its name the Granite.
If the Granite goes into production, it would be the GMC smallest vehicle.
