Mopar tricked-out Dodge Charger at NY Auto Show
Although the stock Dodger Charger R/T will remain the same for the 2011-2012 model, Mopar, the parts and services arm of Chrysler, has something special for all the Charger fans out there.
The Mopar Charger is a limited edition Chrysler-tricked out car available to the public. It comes with custom "Pitch Black" metallic paint, blue racing stripes, and custom 20-inch wheels. The interior gets leather-wrapped steering wheel, pistol-grip shifter, blue embroidery, and special emblems.
On the chassis, the Mopar Charger gets larger stabilizers bars, braces in the rear and front, and larger brakes.
Under the hood, the 5.7-liter V8 engine remains stock with the same 370 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. Unfortunately, only an automatic tranny is available.
There will only be 1,000 MOPAR Chargers being made, but you’ll be able to reserve yourself one at the auto show for a cool $40,000 ($10,000 over the normal R/T model).
