Suffolk police to auction over 120 vehicles, with $300 minimum starting bids

The Suffolk County Police Department Impound Section will auction off more than 120 vehicles on Saturday at its Westhampton facility.
The auction, which begins at 9 a.m., will include sedans, SUVs, pickup trucks, vans, motorcycles and even a bucket truck, according to a news release the department issued. All vehicles will start with a minimum bid of $300 and are sold asis, the department said.
The police will hold a preview of the vehicles up for auction Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the department’s impound lot at 100 Old Country Rd. in Westhampton. Vehicles can also be previewed one hour before the auction begins Saturday.
