Contractors for Kids has announced two newly elected officers of the executive board.
Troy Caruso has been elected president. The Smithtown resident is the president of Diversified Construction Corp. and Superior Site Work Inc., both in Bay Shore.
Steven DeLuca, of Smithtown, has been elected vice president. He is first vice president at Suffolk County National Bank in Deer Park.
Contractors for Kids is a charity that assists Long Island families facing hardship due to sickness, injury or death of a child.
HEALTH CARE
Dr. Bhoomi Mehrotra has been named director of oncology and director of The Cancer Institute at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn. The Syosset resident is also an associate professor of medicine at the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine at Hofstra University in Hempstead. He previously was associate chief for oncology at North Shore-LIJ Medical Center in New Hyde Park.
REAL ESTATE
Peter Spanos has joined Sabre Real Estate Group in Garden City as a senior associate. The Syosset resident previously was an associate broker at CBRE in the Woodbury office.
