Dr. Gary Stones has been named president of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association. The Garden City resident has been a trustee of the association for 13 years. He is vice president of Island Podiatry Associates in New Hyde Park and is a staff podiatrist at Nassau University Medical Center.
Barbara Stegun Phair has been appointed a member of the board of directors of the New York Metropolitan Chapter of The American Association of Nurse Attorneys. The New Hyde Park resident is a partner at the law firm of Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara & Einiger in Lake Success.

Elissa LiVecchi has been named director of marketing for Purolator International in Jericho, a subsidiary of a Canadian integrated delivery services provider. The Setauket resident previously was director of brand promotion at Canon U.S.A. Inc.

Burke Liburt has been named chief executive of the Long Island Spy Museum in Stony Brook. The Orient resident co-founded SynchroPET, a biotech company in Shoreham. The museum is set to open in the autumn.
NONPROFITS
Theresa Aulman-Viola of Hicksville has been named director of human resources at the Girl Scouts of Nassau County. The Hicksville resident most recently served as human resources manager of Polar Electro in Lake Success.
Erica Kutzing has been named director of operations at Save-a-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center in Port Jefferson Station. The East Setauket resident previously worked as a kennel worker at Jefferson Animal Hospital in Port Jefferson Station.

Michael Ianuale has been named controller of Delta Computer Group in Farmingdale. The Holbrook resident previously was director of finance for Mercy Haven in Islip Terrace.
