Two jobs fairs, each expected to feature more than two dozen employers, will take place this week.

Newsday and CareerBuilder.com, the online job site, will host a job fair Wednesday at the Melville Marriott, 1350 Walt Whitman Rd., Melville, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Some of the companies expected to be on hand include Bethpage Federal Credit Union; the U.S. Postal Service; YAI Network, which works with people with disabilities; Newsday and Cablevision, which owns Newsday.

On Thursday, the Suffolk County Labor Department will sponsor a job fair at the Brentwood Public Library, 34 Second Ave., Brentwood, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participating employers will include Aflac, Catholic Charities, the Hyatt Regency, Premier Home Health Care and Macy's.
