Actor Kevin Sorbo sells one of three Hamptons houses

It was a Herculean task, but actor Kevin Sorbo has unloaded one of three Hamptons homes he has on the market.

Best known for playing Hercules in the 1990s TV show of the same name, Sorbo sold the 10,000-square-foot Bridgehampton house, seen here, Feb. 23 through his Sorbo Family Trust for $7 million, according to the Long Island Real Estate Report.

The seven-bedroom, 7.5-bath mansion is on 3.5 acres, with a pool, overlooking farmland in all directions.

The house was a co-exclusive listing with Saunders & Associates and Susan and Matthew Breitenbach of The Corcoran Group.

Property records show that Sorbo bought the parcel in 2006 for $2.25 million. It was reported at the time that he and wife, Sam, planned to build a house on the property. They had recently sold another home in Water Mill for $3.8 million and had owned and rented other Hamptons houses — one of which once hosted Sean “Diddy” Combs’ famous white parties and a shindig in which Paris Hilton launched her record label Heiress Records.

One of Sorbo’s holdings is an 8,000-square-foot house in Bridgehampton that has already been rented for the summer. It is on the market for $9.95 million. The seven-bedroom, 7.5-bath house is on 1 acre near the ocean. It has a movie theater and a heated gunite pool with an outdoor Jacuzzi tub.

The property is being listed with the Breitenbachs and Saunders’ Laura White. "It's a very special property," says Susan Breitenbach, who rented it to one of her clients. "It's very close to the ocean."

Sorbo is asking $7.995 million for a third home, this one in Water Mill -- the so-called Playstation 2 house, where Combs held the White Party. The eight-bedroom, 9.5-bath house is 12,000 square feet on six acres. There is a sunken tennis court, a pool and a pool house. The lower level has a professional gym with a spa, s sauna and a massage room. There also is a built-in humidor.

The listing is an exclusive listing with the Breitenbachs of Corcoran.

Sorbo, 51, is also well known for the role of Captain Dylan Hunt in the TV show “Andromeda” and had made appearances on “Two and a Half Men,” “The O.C.,” “Psych” and many other programs. He voiced the Hercules in the video game God of War and Prometheus in the video game The Conduit. His voice also can be heard as Ka-Zar in Cartoon Network’s “Super Hero Squad Show.”

A real estate source says he owns oceanfront property in Bridgehampton that he plans to build on.
